Meet. Dr. Ashley Blanchfield
Originally from New England, my dental training has taken me across the country and back. After dental school, I lived in Juneau, Alaska where I completed additional training in general dentistry, including advanced oral and periodontal surgery as well as esthetic dentistry and prosthodontics. It was an adventure to be able to travel – usually by float plane or ferry – around Southeast Alaska, providing dental treatment to adults and children in remote villages with little access to dental care.
I completed my pediatric specialty training at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Oregon and practiced in Vermont and New Hampshire before calling Augusta, Maine home with my twin boys.
My goal is to welcome all children and families in a dental environment that is comfortable, happy, and will create a positive association with oral health for the rest of their lives. I look forward to meeting you and your child(ren).
